Book early – these events will sell out!

This is an extraordinary opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most popular health and wholefood advocates as they come together to generously share their knowledge and passion, for a very important cause: stopping the Wallarah 2 coal mine, planned for the Central Coast. With three events taking place in May, July and September, the focus areas are Gut Health, Thriving Kids and a Happy Home.

We have brought together the most captivating thought-leaders whose message will resonate and leave a lasting impression. And as inspiring as these ladies are, their advice is wholly practical and achievable, because they’re mamas too! They understand the constant juggling of priorities and how easy it can be to lose sight of what’s truly important, in the busy-ness of everyday life.

Consider these events a full-day retreat where you can reset and find a new perspective. And whether your goal is to expand on your existing food and nutrition knowledge; introduce new habits to reduce family stress and mama overwhelm; or provide your kids with a nourishing, toxin-free childhood, these events will equip you with simple, actionable ideas that truly work. You’ll leave inspired and energised, armed with new wisdom to help you and your family create a ‘new normal’.

Extraordinary value

We are thrilled to be able to offer tickets to these full-day events at only $97 each (or $249 for all three)!  This is amazing value and wouldn’t be possible but for the fact that our speakers have all generously agreed to donate their time. 100% of the profits go towards supporting the Australian Coal Alliance in their fight against the Central Coast coal mine. Please note, however: seats are strictly limited.

These events are designed with mothers and other health conscious women in mind, but will benefit anyone who has a hunger for information and inspiration.

Help us stop the Central Coast coal mine

For the past 22 years, members of the Central Coast community and the Australian Coal Alliance have been tirelessly campaigning against a now Korean-owned coal mine predicted to destroy the sensitive water catchment, which supplies the rapidly expanding region. The proposal has continually been rejected – until now.

There are plans for coal loaders (operating 24/7, for 28 years) as near as 300 metres from some of the most densely populated and fastest growing residential areas on the coast (with many preschools, schools, hospitals and aged care facilities nearby) and there are grave health concerns for locals due to the dangerous issues associated with coal dust.

Aboriginal landholders and local farmers who live in the surrounding valleys above the mine will be directly affected, with many farmers at risk of losing their livelihoods as their creeks dry up and their properties, affected by the anticipated land subsidence (sinking) of up to 2 metres. There are also 19 endangered species in the area whose habitats will be destroyed.

A dedicated group of locals who are at the heart of the Australian Coal Alliance (ACA) are now preparing to take this decision to the Land and Environment Court and they have a strong case. However, their estimated costs are around $100K. Our goal with these events is to raise $40K. Head to the ACA’s website to read more, or to make a donation, click here.

Gut health is not just about digestion; it helps determine our mood and mental function, the quality of our sleep, our energy levels, weight and so much more. It has a huge impact on children’s behaviour, their growth and development, immunity and their tendency towards allergies, eczema and ear infections. Optimising gut health in these early years is essential to their lifelong wellbeing. In this thought-provoking, fun-filled day, you’ll learn:

  • Why poor gut health is associated with so many varying states of disease and how to address this in both children and adults.
  • Effective dietary strategies: which gut-healing foods to focus on and clever ways to include them.
  • The powerful impact that lifestyle interventions like exercise, laughter and nature walks can have on gut health. Discover some fun and frankly, unusual ways to improve gut function that the whole family will enjoy.
  • Watch practical demonstrations by fermenting gurus Jane and Gillian as they inspire you with their passion for all things bubbly. There will be recipes and tastings – if you’re not in love with this process and its magical powers already, you soon will be!
  • Discover the naturopathic approach to gut healing: when to do testing, what to look for in a practitioner, and common herbs and supplements that can support the road to healing.
  • And get your questions answered! We’ll have Q&A sessions with each speaker and there will be time to mingle and chat with some of them in the breaks.
